-
Detox flow

-
Warm Restorative
Dimly lit, soothing class creates space for you to recharge. Gentle movements nourish your joints. Stretches improve range of motion and fascial pliability. Breathing exercises deeply calm and regulate your nervous system. Meditation and mindfulness centre your focus.
-
Baby & Caregiver
A gently paced class to feel more connected to your body, self, and little one. We focus on building up strength and mobility that will support you in life with a baby and beyond, as well as incorporate massage, songs, and relaxation, so that both of you can leave feeling more grounded
-
Toddler & Caregiver
This class is full of vibrancy and energy - much like the toddler we gear this practice to. We move through stories, songs, and games, ending with a relaxation, to keep little ones engaged, and you moving throughout your day. *Classes are intended for children who are confident walkers to 4 years old with their caregiver, and are shorter due to the nature of a toddler's attention span

Training and practicing as an RMT fostered a curiosity in human anatomy and function that certainly informs my yoga teaching and practice. I first started yoga in high school when my doctor suggested it to help back pain, and I am so grateful she did. Connecting to my body, breath and inner trust has helped me through so many difficult times in life.
I completed my 200h yoga teacher training in Costa Rica in 2011, trained as a registered massage therapy at Sutherland Chan in Toronto in 2016, then trained in Craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Academy shortly after.
A passion for yoga led me to practice and train in Toronto for years, creating a diverse experience I am thrilled to share with the community of Tottenham, and whomever else Is inclined to practice with us at Detox Flow.

After a knee injury left me unable to participate in the team sports I knew and loved, my physiotherapist recommended I try yoga to find more mobility post-surgery. I'd dabbled in yoga in the past, but found a home in myself and a local studio that I hadn't felt before. Being a classroom teacher, I could see how beneficial this practice could be for all ages, so I set out to obtain my 200-Hour Hatha certificate and Rainbow Kids Yoga certificate in 2016, and haven't looked back!
I've since received training certificates for Restorative Yoga, Teen Yoga, an additional 300-Hours in Hatha, Yoga for Differently-Abled, and most recently, Yoga Nidrā. I have co-created a 100-Hour Kids Yoga Teacher Training, and continue to bring yoga to all ages in many capacities. You can expect functional movements, accessibility, and a killer playlist when you come to class, and I look forward to exploring this beautiful practice with the New Tecumseth community, even down to the littlest yogis out there!
